Out from the East
The sun does rise
See changing colour
Of the skies
What once was black
Now with bright hue
The sun brings life
To all but few
Our time to rest
Has gone away
Awaken all
'Tis another day
Look the world
Right in the eye
Do not let time
Pass you by
To lie and rest
Might seem so fine
But you can’t get back
Your wasted time
So use the time
At work or play
Just enjoy
The newborn day
Our lives you know
Are just short lines
Across the span
We know as time
The day grows older
Oh so fast
If you stop
Might be your last
Do what must
Be done right now
Find the strength
And time somehow
For very soon
The sun will set
Darkness falls
Just like a net
So now again
It’s time to rest
Should you not awake
You’ve done your best
If that should happen
Those you knew
Will have good reason
To remember you
