Road To Nowhere

Are you on the road to nowhere
Do you know where it might lead
Do you have peace within your Life
What fills your every need

I stand and look around me
As the world does pass me by
I can see so much is missing
I can hear the people cry

They seem lost in a world of turmoil
Don’t know who’s friend or foe
Always changing their direction
Not knowing where to go

Living in a world that’s spinning
So much out of control
It’s time for some reflection
Time to set some goals

Why is it some seem happy
A smile always on display
While others awaken in the morning
To dread the new born day

What is it that seems lost to you
But others they can find
Is it something in reality
Or something in their mind

Look closely at these people
The ones that show they care
Fear not to ask a question
For they will surely share

Follow the road that they are taking
Though it may seem so very narrow
One thing they know for certain
Is where that road does go

For these are the very people
Upon which the Spirit has been poured
And on their journey through their lifetime
They travel with the Lord

You won’t miss out if you go with them
You’ll see with open eyes
No more lost out on your lonesome
With no one to hear your cries

They are not on a road to nowhere
For they know where it does lead
They have an inner peace in life
And it fills their every need
